The BEEr Cap

While playing sand volleyball, a bee had explored the depths of a canned beverage and stung a buddy in the throat. This led to the development of the BEEr Cap.

The BEEr Cap is a 3D printed cap that snaps on to any traditionally sized aluminum canned beverages. Once snapped on, it can rotate to cover the opening, preventing unwanted visitors.

It is also a great way to market at events! If you, or someone you know could use some BEEr Cap, don't hesitate to reach out!

Custom Putter

As someone who is always trying to find a quick fix to their golf game, I figured a new putter couldn't hurt. I struggled to find a putter that functionally felt better and matched the aesthetic I was searching for. This led me to design my own putter with the additional constraint of keeping the pieces modular. This would allow me to design and try other designs in the future.

I began by modeling and 3D printing multiple designs and sizes. I found myself diving into the physics and biomechanics of a golf swing. Luckily, the putting motion is one of the simpler motions. Unfortunately, it is the club you use most often, especially if you average a 3-putt.

For these reasons, I knew I really wanted to make sure I liked the design and feel. I focused on the weigh, moment of

After lots of experimenting, I found that I enjoyed a design that mixed a blade style with a mallet style putter. This allowed me to add more weight.

Keeping the balance of the putter "toe-heavy" was something I couldn't get away from, it just felt more comfortable.

Lastly, I added a copper face to implement a softer contact against the ball, versus a Stainless Steel face.

The Fusca (1973 VW Beetle)

This 1973 Volkswagen Beetle is an air-cooled beauty and has allowed me to get my hands dirty while learning more about cars.

List of some updates or changes:

  • Lifted the rear end 2"
  • Lifted front end 2"
  • Switched front shocks with Coil-over Shocks.
  • Dropped the engine for a Deep clean.
  • Replaced the Starter motor, blinker switch and ignition switch.
  • Updated front headlights.
  • Installed higher performance Carburetor and fuel pump

This will be a never-ending battle of always wanting to update, change or improve something. It is frustrating but extremely rewarding.
